About this course

This course is designed for IT professionals who want to acquire the technical knowledge and skills needed to conceptualise, engineer, integrate, and implement secure solutions across complex enterprise environments.

You will expand on your knowledge of information security to apply more advanced principles that will keep an organisation safe from the many ways it can be threatened. You will develop the skill set needed to confidently perform the duties of an advanced security professional.

Additionally, the course will prepare you to take the CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CAS-003) certification examination.*

*The exam will need to be organised separately.

Module 1: Explore various business and industry influences along with their associated security risks

Module 2: Compare various critical security and privacy policies and procedures that represent organisational requirements

Module 3: Execute risk mitigation strategies and controls in a given scenario

Module 4: Analyse different risk metric situations for enterprise security

Module 5: Explore integration of network and security components, concepts, and architectures

Module 6: Explore integration of security controls for host devices to meet security requirements

Certification Test Preparation

With our Test Preparation module, you can assess your knowledge of the skills and competencies and readiness for the CompTIA certification exam. The Practice Test can be taken in both Study and Certification modes.

Study mode is designed to maximise learning by not only testing your knowledge of the material, but by providing feedback on your answer choices and additional information on the topics presented.

Certification mode is designed to test your knowledge of the material within a structured testing environment, similar to what you will experience when you take the CompTIA certification exam.
